Project: Plastic-Free July Campaign

As Creative Director at Global Conservancy, I led the groundbreaking Plastic-Free July campaign and 'Walk the Talk' initiative, managing both creative vision and execution. I built and directed a diverse creative team that captured compelling stories from communities directly impacted by plastic production – from families living beside toxic manufacturing plants to coastal communities fighting pollution.

Our approach combined raw, personal narratives with stunning visuals to create a cinematic yet urgent campaign that resonated globally. We challenged existing perceptions around plastic use while empowering communities to take action. The campaign's effectiveness is evident in its measurable impact: over 20,000 signatures supporting the Protect Communities from Plastics Act.

From concept to completion, I oversaw all aspects including creative direction, resource management, and stakeholder collaboration, delivering on time and within budget. The campaign successfully held the oil industry accountable, shifted public opinion, and catalyzed support for legislative change, marking it as one of Global Conservancy's most impactful initiatives to date.
