
Atmos Magazine — Hive
Atmos magazine looks at the culture of climate change, with each issue putting a different element of our relationship to the Earth under a microscope.
The Hive Issue. With stories of synarchy and symbiosis, individualism and collectivity, queendom and colonies, entomology and ecology—an exploration of what is possible when we come together for a common cause or a belief.
Role: Creative & Direction of Photography. In this role, I led all visual storytelling campaigns for digital and social, coordinating with product, design, and marketing teams.
For each publication, I brought a fresh and inspiring perspective that both met business goals and delivered the most profound and captivating storytelling. My ethos: stories have to be personal and universal, timely and timeless.
I conceptualized, assigned, selected and published photography and videography for Atmos. I conceived of, assigned and researched a wide array of climate and culture ideas working hand in hand with the Editor-in-Chief to bring an inspiring perspective to each publication and feature photography for articles, visual essays, and Instagram posts for print and online.
I scouted, briefed, commissioned and guided photographers, stylists and illustrators through all stages of the creative process.
I also worked with designers to develop and lead all design processes for print and online including cover artwork, graphic design, typography, layouts and typesetting.

Skills:
Design Software: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, as well as Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve.
