As Art Director at Amsterdam Art, I gave shape to show the brand and its stories showed up in the world.

I built and nurtured relationships with a diverse network of creative talent – photographers, stylists, and designers – who helped bring the vision to life. My role involved guiding these contributors through every stage of the creative process while ensuring we kept the highest quality standards and met our strategic objectives. A strategic balance between aesthetics, creativity and business goals.

A significant part of my work involved leading the creation of our annual art books, which showcased the best of Amsterdam's contemporary art scene. I took full ownership of these publications from concept to completion – managing art direction, commissioning photographers, overseeing design, handling budgets, and coordinating photoshoots. These books became cornerstone publications that connected art enthusiasts with the city's cultural landscape.

I also spearheaded our digital presence, ensuring our visual storytelling remained fresh and engaging across our website and social media channels. Throughout all projects, I managed production schedules and budgets while fostering a collaborative environment that encouraged creative risk-taking. My focus was always on making Amsterdam's vibrant art world accessible and captivating to diverse audiences, contributing to the growth of our artistic community.
