REVOLVE MAGAZINE
Established in 2010, REVOLVE magazine is an award-winning publication telling stories around the multiplicity of sustainability. The publication inspires action by keeping its audience informed and inspired about the circular economy, ecosystem restoration, the energy transition, deep ecology and the intersection of art and climate.
Role: Art Director and Photo Editor
As Art Director at REVOLVE magazine, I led the creative vision and execution of an international quarterly publication, leading and mentoring an international team of 10 across photography, design, and digital content.
This was an all-hands-on-deck role and the first time I had the opportunity to be part of an entire print magazine production process.
Working closely with the Editor-in-Chief, I oversaw comprehensive asset management, and art-directed photo shoots, and maintained quality control throughout the production pipeline.
By mixing art and climate, we were able to establish the magazine in its own niche, bridging cultural and linguistic barriers.
As Photo Editor, I launched and directed VIEWS, the photography-led section of the magazine, featuring photo essays, along with personal and universal narratives. With VIEWS, we grew our reach to 50K+ print circulation which attracted 10K subscribers in 2013.
